Marc-Olivier Schatz, Swiss graphic designer with a master in design entrepreneurship.
I am working in the production of visual identities, communication elements (posters, flyers, brochures,…), signage, webdesign, exhibition scenography and book layout.
Open-minded, creative and curious, I obtained a CFC in graphic design in 1998 at the Ecole d’arts appliqués in La Chaux-de-Fonds (French part of Switzerland), completed by a training in multimedia at the Eracom in Lausanne. In 2018, I took on a new challenge by completing a master’s degree in design entrepreneurship at the Bern University of the Arts where I graduated in January 2021.
I have been a freelance graphic designer since September 2000 and have worked for several years in the fields of education, watchmaking, publishing and culture. I am a member of the Swiss Graphic Designers association and chief expert for the CFC exams at the Ecole d’arts appliqués in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
My interests are contemporary art, design, photography, architecture, astronomy (15 years as president of the Société Neuchâteloise d’Astronomie), sailing, yoga, etc.
